Boat Capacity &
Age Limits
Our vessel has a strict limit of 6 guests maximum. This includes adults and children over 1 year old.
Minimum age requirement is 9 months and/or over 18 lbs. There is no maximum age limit, but guests should be ambulatory and able walk down a dock ramp and climb 2 stairs to board.
Departure Location
Our vessel departs from 893 Deer Harbor Rd. Orcas Island, WA - West Sound Public Boat Dock on Orcas Island, WA. (Offsite pick up is available for a fee. Lopez, Shaw, and San Juan Island. Travel time is billed at $150 per hours. We do not service the mainland ports.)
ADA Access & Wheelchairs
Our vessel was built in 1935 and is not ADA accessible. Guests will be required to board via a dock ramp and small set of 2 stairs.
Alcohol,
Drinks
& Food
Guests may bring alcohol and food aboard the vessel. The boat will provide soft drinks, water and small snacks.
Pets
Pets are allowed on any of our private charters. Pets are not allowed on any of our shared charters.
Children
Children over the age of 9 months are allowed on any of our charters. Children under the age of 13 years old are required to wear a personal floatation device per Washington State Regulations. The boat will provide there. The price for children over 1 years old is the same as for adults.
Fishing & Crab License
Guests must purchase a Washington State fishing license for any of our fishing trips. A Puget Sound crab endorsement is required for crabbing. 1-Day licenses are available online at: https://fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov/login
Sea-Sickness
Our vessel primarily operates in calm waters surrounding Orcas Island. It is very rare that any guest would experience sea-sickness.
Restrooms
Our vessel is equipped with a restroom and running water.
Getting to Orcas Island -
Via Ferry
If you are coming to Orcas Island from Anacortes via the State Ferry System, we recommend that you get a reservation through the Washington State Ferry website. Please be aware that the ferries often run late, so give yourself at least a 2-hour early buffer for arrivals into Orcas Island before your charter. Flying to Orcas Island &
Transportation
Guests coming from Seattle have the option to fly-in directly to Orcas Island (Deer Harbor Marina- Float Plane; or Eastsound Airport) via Kenmore Air. Click here for Kenmore Airlines. Guests coming from Bellingham can fly-in via San Juan Airlines. Click here for San Juan Airline. Once on the island there are rental cars services, taxis or shuttle services.
Cancellations & Weather
Guests cancellation policy is 7 days prior to departure for full deposit refund. Weather cancellations are at the Captains discretion. We will attempt to notify you at least 24 hour in advance of possible bad weather. If a trip is cancelled due to weather the guests may chose to rebook on an alternate date or receive a refund. For certain trips a minimum of 4 passengers is required to operate.
Orcas
Whales
We do not offer a specific whale watching tour package. Sometimes we see whales, sometimes we don't. But there is no guarantee for whale sightings on any of our charters.

Ferry Delays
